BOWA Construction is providing CMAR services for the conversion of the 230,000 SF historic Schulze Baking Company building into a Tier III data center including 30,000 SF of office space and a 120,000 SF data center with more than 52,000 SF of high-power density-raised floor space. Designed with state-of-the-art electrical and mechanical systems, the new Midway Technology Centre (MTC) will include a purpose-built data center building with data halls designed to accommodate full-floor tenants, as well as individual data halls in a multi-tenant environment. The data center structure will provide heavy floor load capacity, generous 19-foot structural height and efficient support areas.
