Bowa Construction provided general contracting services for
Advocate Health Care’s Lutheran General Hospital Center for
Advanced Care Bone Marrow Treatment (BMT) Office
project including the demolition of an existing conference room,
as well as an unoccupied area of the Hospital into the BMT Office
including new exam rooms. Scope of work consisted of new
drywall partitions; acoustical ceilings; new sheet vinyl and vinyl
plank flooring; ceramic tile flooring and back splashes; casework
and solid surface counter tops; new plumbing, HVAC and HEPA
filtration systems; fire sprinklers; lighting; and new nurse call
systems and power. In addition, sliding doors with pull handles
in lieu of hinged swing doors and metal frames were installed in
every exam room.
