Bowa Construction is providing construction management services for the Central Ohio Transit Authority’s (COTA) Fields Avenue CNG Renovation project. Scope of work includes renovation to an existing bus garage consisting of new locker and break rooms for drivers, vehicle maintenance equipment including bus lifts and new lighting throughout, as well as a 13,000 SF addition housing two new bus lanes, offices and a facilities shop. A compressed natural gas (CNG) production plant and central fueling island will also be created in order to service CNG buses. Additional scope includes roof replacement, installation of new mechanical roof top equipment and site work consisting of new water lines and storm and sewer systems. All work is being completed in an active, occupied facility.
